Mas isso pode não ser o bastante. Dê o melhor de você, assim mesmo. Veja você que, no final das contas, é tudo entre você e Deus. Nunca foi entre você e os outros.” – Madre Teresa de Caucutá (1910-1997). Alguém já achou nas Sagradas Escrituras, alguma referência onde Deus determina a religião que devemos seguir? Eu só conheço uma religião: DEUS. E mesmo àqueles que não acreditam NEle, devemos nosso respeito, pois nem mesmo o Criador faz acepção de pessoas. Ele olha para todos com amor, deixando como ensinamento a educação e que devemos respeitar as escolhas de cada um. Sim, Deus é educado. Ele deixou o livre-arbítrio, para você deixá-lo ou não, entrar em seu coração. Contudo, existem algumas pessoas que insistem em “obrigar” aos outros a seguirem suas doutrinas, sendo que de forma impositiva e inconveniente, tentam convencer que sua religião é a certa. Todos nós, sem exceção, temos problemas, lutas e desafios constantes em nossas vidas, sendo a Fé, o principal elemento para vencermos todas as batalhas. Essa Fé é que faz todo sentido na nossa trajetória e rumo ao cumprimento da missão que nos é outorgada pelo nosso Criador, , independentemente de religião. Vivemos em um país LAICO, onde a liberdade religiosa deve ser respeitada, tendo como princípio a imparcialidade em assuntos religiosos, NÃO APOIANDO OU DISCRIMINANDO NENHUMA RELIGIÃO, com fulcro no artigo XVIII da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos, assinada em 1948, sendo esta uma garantia constitucional, conforme dispõe o artigo 5º, inciso VI, da Constituição Brasileira de 1988: VI – é inviolável a liberdade de consciência e de crença, sendo assegurado o livre exercício dos cultos religiosos e garantida, na forma da lei, a proteção aos locais de culto e a suas liturgias; Há casos em que, o “ser intolerante” se acha no “direito” de desmoralizar pessoas e símbolos religiosos de outras denominações, chegando até à agressão física, perseguição e outros tipos de fanatismos, que não devem ser aceitos em uma sociedade que busca a evolução, fraternidade e igualdade de direitos. Vale ressaltar que, intolerância religiosa que recai em discriminação e portanto, pode ser tipificado como crime. A Lei 9.459, de 1997, considera crime a prática de discriminação ou preconceito contra religiões. Sendo assim, ninguém pode ser discriminado em razão de credo religioso. O CRIME de discriminação religiosa é INAFIANÇÁVEL – o acusado não pode pagar fiança para responder em liberdade – e IMPRESCRITÍVEL, ou seja, o acusado pode ser PUNIDO a QUALQUER TEMPO. A pena prevista para este crime é de: reclusão por um a três anos e multa. Segundo a Secretaria de Direitos Humanos, as denúncias pelo canal “Disque 100”, em razão de crimes de discriminação às crenças religiosas, cresceram mais de 600%, constatando a urgência de uma mudança de postura e mentalidade por parte de alguns. Diante todo o acima exposto, constata-se que é dever de todo e qualquer cidadão dizer `Não´ à intolerância religiosa, em defesa do Estado Laico e preservação da dignidade da pessoa humana.
